14 Hyper-G server installation, maintenance and administration

Gerald Pani, Klaus Schmaranz

Up to now you have read quite a bit about the philosophy and special features of Hyper-G which have hopefully made you seriously interested. In this chapter you will find the answer to the final question ``How can I try it out?'' Please note that this is the most technical chapter so far and is only of interest to you when you are ready to install your own Hyper-G server. You will not need to read this chapter if you are only interested in browsing through information on a Hyper-G server or even if you wish to insert data into a Hyper-G server. This chapter assumes a basic knowledge of UNIX.
