2.8 Further reading

The number of books about the Internet, its services and applications seems to be growing faster than the Internet itself. Two popular general guides are `The Whole Internet' by [Krol(1994)] and `The Internet Unleashed' [Barron et al.(1995)]. The Electronic Frontier Foundation's (extended) guide to the Internet is available free of charge on the Web EFF_internet_guide. For a comprehensive Internet bibliography consult the `Unofficial Internet Book List' by InternetBookList which lists 230 titles. Other online resources include the Internet Society's home page InternetSociety, the very extensive `Internet Tools Summary' by InternetToolsSummary, and for Internet statistics the `Internet Domain Survey' by the InternetDomainSurvey. There are also a number of magazines which cover the Internet, the Web and related topics. Most prominent among them are probably `Wired' Wired and `Internet World' InternetWorld.
