A good choice for those who want to know more about Authoring for the Web and also other types of Web services is Managing Internet Information Services by [Liu et al.(1994)]. It also includes documentation on HTML. In The World Wide Web Unleashed [December and Randall(1994)] the section ``Weaving a Web'' covers provider issues in detail. For information provider materials the URL: http://www.w3.org/hypertext/WWW/Provider/Overview.html (``Putting Information onto the Web'') is a good starting point. The ``Style Guide for Online Hypertext'' from Tim Berners-Lee can also be found there.
