An excellent WWW text is [December and Randall(1994)]. Virtually all topics relating to the World Wide Web are treated here. This book was designed to cater for readers of all levels. Beginners as well as advanced readers will find many interesting topics.
Another reference is [Maxwell and Grycz(1994)]. This book is like a phone book full of different URLs. An A-Z will help you find many HTTP Urls, links to different news groups and so forth. This book is interesting for everyone who likes surfing on the Internet.
[Liu et al.(1994)] and [Krol(1994)] are two books which give good background information about the Internet. You will find interesting topics about HTTP, HTML, WWW, Email, news and more. Both are recommended for readers who want to know more about the technical side of the internet. Some experience with the Internet is assumed.
